Delegation of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission visits FDCA-Gujarat

“China Pharmaceuticals Industry Internationalization Strategy Summit and China-India Pharmaceutical Business Convention” at shanghai, China jointly organized by Shengjie, China and IPA, India during 16-17 May 2019 in which Punamchand K Parmar, a senior official in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat along with Dr. Hemant G Koshia, Commissioner, Food and Drugs Control Administration, were invited. In follow up to the above summit a pharma delegation comprises of Mr. Zheng Huanmin, Vice Director, Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Mr. Pan Yue, Director, Beijing Pharma and Biotech Center (BPBC), Mr. Tian Dexiang, Director, Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Daxing Bio-Medicine Industry Park, Mr. Liu Yi, Officer of Bio-medical Department, Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Mr. Ma Tao, Department Head, Beijing Pharma and Biotech Center & other members visited FDCA-Gujarat and Gujarat based pharma industry on 24th October, 2019.

The delegation was aiming to understand generic drugs industry in India so as to provide a reference path for the development of highend generic drugs industry in Beijing, china. During their visit of FDCA- Gujarat, senior officials explained about the pharma regulatory policies in India and generic drugs industry in India and best practices of FDCA-Gujarat. Delegation praised about the e-governance and new initiatives adopted by FDCA-Gujarat. Then after, delegation visited Dr. Jayanti Ravi, Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat and discussed about pharma policies. Moreover, the delegation visited Zydus Healthcare Ltd., Changodar, Ahmedabad and then proceed to Bangalore.
