Accuprec BoA chairman presents keynote speech on National IPR Policy

Shri Padmin Buch, Chairman, BoA of Accuprec was invited as Guest of honour and Key note speaker at the " Workshop on National IPR Policy " at Gandhinagar on July 29, 2019. The workshop was organized by GUJCOST, Recognized and supported by Dept. of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat and TIFAC, Govt of India.

With cases of plagiarism, violation of copyrights rampant in the competitive world Intellectual Property Rights have vital role to play. Moreover, the complexities associated with the IPR, it becomes imperative to understand and unwind it.

Patent rights doesnt mean a person will have a monopoly for a lifetime. "Patent right holder gets right of 'monopoly' up to the life of patent , which is 20 years. During this tenure nobody can utilise the patent right for commercialisation. Patent right also means the holder will have to disclose his / her invention in public, who can use the information for further research only. They can't use it for manufacturing, marketing or selling purpose.
