Summit focused on pharma Industry between India-China held in China


Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), SHENGJIE and SaSPinjara, China and India hosted a summit in Pullman Shanghai South, China during May 16th-17th, 2019. The summit was focused on the pharmaceutical Industry between India and China which would be in interest of exploring export business for nation across the globe. Organizers invited senior official of Health and Family welfare department of Government of Gujarat Mr. Punamchand K. Parmar (IAS) as Chief Guest and Senior official of Food and Drugs Control Administration, Gujarat State Dr. Hemant G. Koshia, Commissioner, FDCA, Gandhinagar as Guest of Honour and to deliver key note address on Bi-lateral initiation to improve India and China Pharmaceutical Industry for win win road map.

In the inauguration ceremony of summit Mr. Punamchand K. Parmar, IAS attended as Chief Guest and Dr. Hemant G. Koshia attended as Guest of Honour. Consulate General of India, Shanghai, Consul General, Dr. Anil Kumar Rai also attended Inauguration ceremony.Dr. Hemant G. Koshia delivered a speech on “Regulatory Overview of India: Feasibility for Import + Export” and discussed about regulatory practices in India and Gujarat State.During the technical sessions Mr. Punamchand K. Parmar delivered a key note address on “India-China Pharmaceutical Cooperation Feasibility: Overview on Policy + Acceleration Path” and discussed various aspects related to India-China Pharmaceutical trade and issues.Other speakers from Pharmaceutical Industry and Educational Institutes also delivered their talk.

In the summit more than 800 delegates participated coming from Pharmaceutical Industries and Academicians from across the globe. There were many exhibitors coming from India, China, USA etc. coming from Clinical Research Organisations (CROs), Solution Providers, Equipment Manufacturers, Representatives from API (Bulk Drugs), Biologicals, Formulation Industries etc. During the summit both officials personally interacted with Indian & Chinese participants and Indian Exhibitors and understood their current issues related to India-China trade.
