Governor of Maharashtra called for Vision Document to tackle emerging cancer challenge

The Governor of Maharashtra CH. Vidyasagar Rao released a special postal cover on the occasion of completion of 50 years of service by the Cancer Patients Aid Association at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

Chairman of the Association Y K Sapru, Post Master General Mumbai Region Swati Pandey and office bearers of the Cancer Patients Aid Association were present.

Observing that cancer burden in India has more than doubled during the last three decades, the Governor called for preparing a Vision Document to tackle the emerging cancer challenge in the country.
