Accuprians Switched off Lights for 1 hour to celebrate Earth Hour

To celebrate than with the electrifying energy of Earth Hour as it sweeps across the planet, Accuprians switch off in solidarity with global efforts to secure nature on 30 March, 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Earth Hour is now the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature.

"The world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment grows another year older and will continue to unite millions of people around the world who take part in this annual celebration. Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd participated in the celebration as a part of the movement by more than 180 countries and territories coming together to highlight action on the environmental issues. It’s time to #Connect2Earth," Shri Mayur Kandoriya, Director & CMO of Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd said.

As accelerating climate change and staggering biodiversity loss threaten our planet, Earth Hour 2018-2020 endeavours to spark never-before-had conversations on the loss of nature and the urgent need to protect it. Skylines around the world went dark as millions of people celebrated Earth Hour to show their commitment to protect the planet. As nature declines like never before, coupled with the ever-present challenge of climate change, Earth Hour 2019 focussed on raising awareness on why nature matters and inspiring global action on conserving nature. Thousands of landmarks switched off their lights in solidarity for the planet, to raise the awareness about the importance of nature and encourage individuals, businesses and governments worldwide to be a part of the solutions needed to build a healthy, sustainable future – and planet – for all.

"On one hand we have the moral responsibility to live in harmony with nature, on the other nature is vitally important to everyone’s daily lives; we depend on it for the food we eat, the air we breathe and the water we drink, and so much more. But we are pushing the planet to the limit and nature is severely under threat,” said Marco Lambertini, Director General, WWF International.
