While another BoA member of Accuprec Prof. (Dr) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) was declared winner in the category of collaborative leadership in higher education in India Didactics Association (IDA) Education Awards. Third member of BoA Dr. Jaimin Vasa, President of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries was appointed in Ayush committee of Government of India. AMA was conferred with the ‘Best Local Management Award 2017-18’ (Winner: Category I) by All India Management Association (AIMA). Mr. Rajiv Mehta, President, AMA received the award at the 45th National Management Convention organized by AIMA on September 26 & 27, 2018 at New Delhi. AMA’s highly effective industry-oriented educational programmes and socially relevant programmes for gram panchayat and rural healthcare service delivery were greatly appreciated by the jury. All India Management Association is a national apex body of the management profession in India. It is based on a federation of 67 Local Management Associations.
Prof. (Dr) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor of the university accepted the award from Award received from Ms. Leela loochoomun, minister of education, govt. Of Mauritius and Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister & Education Minister of Delhi at JW Marriott Hotel, new Delhi. The awards were given in annual ministerial and leadership conference Asian Summit on Education and Skills (ASES). Total 650 nominations were received for 20 categories of the Awards. The nominations were received from 17 states all over India. Total 100 eminent educators from across India were part of the jury process. After the process, Grand jury meet organised to decide the winners.
