Zydus receives final approval from the USFDA for Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets USP

Zydus Cadila has received the final approval from the USFDA to market Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets USP, 100 mg. The drug is a broad spectrum antibiotic and is indicated to treat or prevent a variety of infectious disorders that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. It will be manufactured at the group’s formulations manufacturing facility at SEZ, Ahmedabad. The group now has more than 165 approvals and has so far filed over 300 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
