Drug Controller General of India(DGCI) has imposed a ban on voveran injection. The regulator has also cancelled the licence for Diclofenac sold by Novartis. The Drug Regulator has ordered for the withdrawal of stock of the same from the market. This is the biggest victory of Indian and particularly Gujarat based Pharma company Troikaa Pharmaceuticals under the leadership of Managing Director Dr. Ketan Patel against multinational corporate Novartis.

Troikaa Pharmaceuticals had approached Union Health ministry to stop the injections sales in the year 2015. During the three years government had formed three different committees & after your long battle finally the argument of troikaa that the injection contains transcutol P, which causes damage to the Kidneys has been approved. This has proved that the claim of Troikaa was based on scientific truth.
