Swami Shri Dhruveshananji, President, Ramakrishna Math, Dhaka, Bangkadesh visited Accuprec Research Labs Pvt Ltd and gave blessings. He expressed hope that the CRO will do research useful for society. He felt happy to hear about the herbal formulations developed by the team of Accuprec.
Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka is a branch centre of worldwide spiritual and philanthropic twin organizations Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission (generally known as Belur Math), founded in 1897 by world-famous philanthropist and spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda ─ the great disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, a God-man of the 19th century.
Present Activities of the Math: The Ramakrishna Math, Dhaka, conducts religious activities and other spiritual disciplines so as to develop the spirituality of its monks, devotes, and other aspirants. The Math conducts--- (1) Daily worship and bhajan
(2) Weekly classes and religious discourses
(3) Observes birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, the Holy Mother Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and birthdays of disciples of Sri
(4) Celebrated Kali puja, Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Guru Purnima and other religious festivals of Hinduism showing proper respect to the ideals of all the communities in Hinduism
(5) A large number of people attends the Ramakrishna Kathamrita class held on every Friday
(6) The publication section with 30 number of publications in circulation.
(7) High officials, distinguished personalities both locals and foreigners and a large number of people of different faiths attend all its functions.
Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka conducts : (1) A number of seminars and discourses on Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and also on different topics outside the Mission centres. (2) The Nabiday (the Id-e-Miladunnabi),, Buddha Purnima, Christmas Eve, Janmastami etc. have been observed where the lives and teachings were discussed to show respects to all teachers of religions creating a harmonious conscience among the followers of all religions. (3) The High School had 310 students on its roll. The ideal of `man-making and character-building’ education as visualized by Swami Vivekananda is being imparted. (4) A students home with 46 inmates (5) A free library and reading room provided with 15100 books and 50 periodicals, suitable for schools, colleges, universities and also for research scholars. The number of readers used the library were 34,410 during the year. (6) A medical service centre (allopathic) comprising the following sections : a dispensary with an occasional mobile unit (general patients); ENT, Dental section, Pathology, X-Ray section, Ophthalmetry section and an Ultrasonogram unit were in the service; total cases treated were 99,088 (New- 84,105 Old – 14,983) during the year. (7) Educational help – Students who were in need were helped in their study. (8) Other pecuniary help–(among the distressed) poverty stricken 30 families were helped in the form of pecuniary help. (9) Computer training centre- 276 students took training in various computer programmes developing their skills to have better chance in the field of employment. Expert teachers come to join in the educational service to educate the students. (10) Relief Work : Among cold affected families irrespective of caste or colour 2500 nos. woolen blankets were distributed in the spirit of `service to humanity is service to God’. (11) Slum work : Service as distribution of reading materials, weekly Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita class, talks on religious topics, and teaching and coaching for primary students in co-operation with Vivekananda Shiksa and Samskriti parishad, Dhaka, were performed to develop the literary and cultural condition of the people living in the slum areas in and around Dhaka City. (12) Ramakrishna-Vivekananda ideals - a group of young men has been engaged in the work of imparting man-making and character-building education for the cause of the poor as Vivekananda Shiksha and Samskriti Parishad; (13) Blood donation camp : 49 bottles of blood were collected in co-operation with Red Crescent of Bangladesh. This was done during the period of Ramadan month when availability of blood becomes rare due to religious restrictions regarding blood.
