Zydus Cadila has received the final approval from the USFDA to market Carbidopa Tablets, 25 mg. It is used with a combination levodopa/carbidopa product to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease or Parkinson-like symptoms (such as shakiness, stiffness, difficulty moving). It will be manufactured at the group’s manufacturing facility at SEZ, Ahmedabad. The group now has more than 190 approvals and has so far filed over 320 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
