All India Drug Control officers training program was organised at Gandhinagar. The Workshop on Improving Inspection and Managerial Skills was held by Food & Drugs Control Administration, Govt. of Gujarat. Dr Hemant Koshia Commissioner, FDCA, Gujarat and Dr S.P. Adesara, Former Commissioner, FDCA, Gujarat gave guidance about problems and challenges faced during the inspections.
Mr. Padmin Buch Expert in projects, Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property Rights ( IPR) and Chairman of Board of Advisors of Accuprec Research Labs expressed his thoughts about Communication Skills. Other interesting topics were also discussed by experts of various fields. These topics included: Data Integrity‐A Paradigm shift in Regulators Approch by Mr.Nitish Chakravarty, Chief Manufacturing at Liva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Zydus group company).
Dr. Milind Joshi, President Global Regulatory Management at J. B. CHEMICALS & PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED presented his views on International Inspections: Concept & Strategies, while Mr. S.W.Deshpande, Former Joint Commissioner, FDCA, & Hon. Director General of AIDCOC gave talk on Narcotic & Psychotropic Substance Act.
A session on Stress Management was also conducted by Mr. Paresh Bhatt, Director ‐ The Advise & Assist. Concept and Need for Stability, Bioavailability And BioEquivalence was explained by Dr. Kiran Marthak, Board of Director, Lamda Therapeutics Reserch Ltd., while Mr. Sunder Ramachandran, General Manager of GSK Pharmaceuticals India gave training on Team Management. Principle & Need of Time Management was the topic of Mr. Anil Nair from Zydus Cadila, who is the Lead in Organizational Learning and Development.
