Leading logistics provider Agility and its customer TEVA Pharmaceuticals won Best In-Class Client & Supplier Collaboration at India’s 11th annual Express, Logistics, and Supply Chain Leadership Awards, where Agility also was named Best 3PL Company - Pharma.
The collaboration award recognized the two companies for their close, long-time partnership. Agility began working with TEVA Pharmaceuticals in 1999, handling all road, air and ocean freight shipments, inventory management, and import customs clearance, among other services.
Agility and TEVA have worked together to launch generic medications in Europe, the United States and Canada. The companies continue to implement cost-effective solutions. Agility and TEVA have teamed to create risk-mitigation plans for product launches to ensure safe, secure transport of goods.
Accepting the award for Agility were Krishnakumar V, Chief Operating Officer, Agility India, and Satish Lakkaraju, Chief Commercial Officer, Agility India; along with Ryan Viegas, Head of Logistics APAC for TEVA, and Sunil Nayar, Associate Director, Supply Chain, from TEVA.
“TEVA Pharmaceuticals is an important customer of Agility in India and across the Agility network. Agility has collaborated with TEVA to develop unique solutions to manage TEVA’s supply chain requirements. This is an expanding partnership that sets an example for the industry,” Krishnakumar V said.

The Best 3PL Company – Pharma award went to Agility in recognition for work it has done to bring efficient, effective logistics to pharmaceutical customers across India.
