Basic Knowledge of IPR is need of the hour in the era of globalisation. This was stated by Dr. Manish A. Rachchh, Director & CEO of Accuprec Research Labs. He was speaking in a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Trade Mark and Patents organized by Center for continuing education and skill development of the Institution of Engineers (India) and SAL Education Group at SAL College of Engineering, Ahmedabad.
He added that due to globalization, competition has become so fierce that we have to be aware about IPR. He explained about various aspects of Patent, trademark, copyright & IPR. Large number of Students and Faculty members of engineering were present in the workshop.
Welcome address was given by Mr. S.J. Desai, immediate Past Chairman, GSC, IEI. Mr. H.G. Banker explained the workshop theme. On behalf of SAL group, Director of SAL & BOG member of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) Dr. Rupesh Vasani spoke about the need of training in IPR. Mr. H.U. Kalyani, Sec. GSC, IEI presented the vote of thanks.
