Shortcut will cut you short, always strive for the excellence: VC of GTU

"When I was doing a job in Mumbai in the year 1975, there was a board written in a railway station: Shortcut will cut you short... There is no shortcut to quality work, always strive for excellence", Prof. (Dr) Navin Sheth, honourable Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) said in 4th Motivational Lecture of Accupulse series at Accuprec Research Labs.

He addressed the staff of Accuprec Research Labs and told that dedication in your work is the ladder of success in your career. I want to tell one story: Some labours were carving stones. A person passing from nearby road asked the labour, hey, what are you doing? The labour replied that I am doing hard work for livelihood of myself and my family. Same question was asked to another labour. He replied that as there is no job available, I have to do this labour work as a compulsion. Third labour was working with singing. Same question was asked and he replied that I am carving a stone for creating a beautiful temple. My work will become a landmark where thousands of devotees will come for prayer. Morale of the story is: if you do work assigned to you with dedication and innovation, you will become successful in achieving goal of success of your career.

Describing his experience during the recent visits of Poland and Germany, Dr. Sheth said that our education system put more emphasis on theory, while in educational institutes of Poland & Germany, I found that there was more emphasis given to practical study. They were also using local languages instead of English more. Dr. Sheth accompanied with his wife and Mr. Amit Patel, in-charge of Pharmacy & IPR section of GTU visited Labs and appreciated the 14 services provided by Accuprec Research Labs. Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director (R & D) & CEO, Dr Rina Gokani, CSO & Director and Shri Mayur Kandoria, CMO & Director welcomed the guests.
